In agreement with the town hall of Deauville, the architect Alain Moatti has redesigned the Les Franciscaines cultural center as a whole. He wished to preserve the spirit of relaxation and knowledge inherited from the Sisters who occupied the former monastery for a time. The Ruban de la Connaissance (Ribbon of knowledge) alternates books, videos, and paintings in different spaces where visitors can even lie down. Here and there, interactive terminals allow guests to create an ephemeral exhibition.
