In metallurgy, cast iron is a rich iron alloy with 2.1 to 6.67% carbon. The steelmaker can also work with cast aluminum and bronze alloys. Once the molten cast is poured, the carbon monoxyde will ignite. Combustion is the chemical reaction of carbon and hydrogen by oxidation of oxygen. Burning combustion gives rise to a flame by chain reaction. This reaction produces a combustion which releases heat, CO2 but also water as well as other more or less aggressive compounds.
