Following the great work made by the Global White Lion Protection Trust on the field, the wild born offspring of rehabilitated white lions were integrated with wild lions from the region, and released through a carefully-phased reintroduction technique and “soft” release approach. Three prides of high genetic integrity have been established that are hunting self-sufficiently in their natural habitat, at a predation rate comparable to the wild lions in the same habitat.
