Shell reconstruction
0
0
The blue traces of resin still visible on the shell of this Hermann's tortoise bear witness to the reconstruction cares administered by the team of veterinarians from the Tortoise Village of Carnoules. They will fade until completely disappearing over time. The fractures of the shell linked to dog or rat bites, mowers and brush cutters, accidents on public roads, or falls are among the frequent reasons for intervention by the healthcare team of the SOPTOM (Station for the Observation and Protection of Tortoises and their Environments).
