Norman cows are easily recognizable thanks to the glasses that surround their somewhat protruding eyes. Despite their mottled brown and black coat, the top of their slightly triangular head is always white, and their horns are short. The cows have large, colorful ears, and their muzzle is also outlined in brown. They are known for their docility and are particularly curious, even though they are easily frightened. The dairy breed has become the symbol of Normandy, where it is widely spread.
