The best time to prune grape vines
After the harvest, the pruning of the vines is done in winter, during the vegetative rest. It takes place from November to March: as soon as the leaves fall, until the buds start to develop. This action allows to manage the number of bunches harmoniously to facilitate the culture. It also allows a better circulation of the sap towards the buds. The final goal is to harvest mature grapes that will provide a quality wine.
