Découverte d'un ancien nid dans un nichoir utilisé par un couple de mésanges charbonnières. après le départ des osillons.
Le nid est construit dans le trou d'un arbre, d'un mur ou dans un nichoir. Les œufs sont couvés par la femelle 13 ou 14 jours. Les petits restent au nid entre 16 et 21 jours après l'éclosion.
