Qimmiq and young Inuk
2
0
A descendant of the wolf used to hunting its own food during the sled expeditions, the 'qimmiq' or Canadian Eskimo has a more developed hunting instinct than other dog breeds. This young Inuk has fun sharpening it with a caribou's jaw. Carnivorous with powerful canines, the 'qimmiq' draws its energy from the consumption of animal proteins and lipids and appreciates the nutrient rich marrow of bones.
