Javelin propulsion

0
The javelin of the 'patia fa' events is propelled from below, the arm acting like a catapult. The thrower places a finger, usually the forefinger, at the base of the javelin. This finger is used as a thruster and must give all its power to the throw. At the same time, the other hand guides the upper end of the javelin and directs its trajectory. The legs are flexible and the inclination of the body accompanies the movement.
