In sport, a cycle is a sequence of technical movements allowing the athlete to move. The nordic skiing cycle consists of the two propulsive and gliding phases, and a complete double push sequence corresponds to a full cycle. For each cycle, the skier must ensure the good synchronism of all the sections of his body and the correct coordination between his upper limbs, trunk, and lower limbs to produce the best possible movement with each push.
