Lions can feed on many kind of preys: insects, reptiles, birds, fish, mammals and even carrions. Their most common preys are antelopes, such as kudus, impalas, waterbucks, but also giraffes, warthogs, or even zebras or wildebeests, and sometimes buffalos. They are able to catch any kind of mammals, from rodents to elephants. They are good hunters, but sometimes steal the preys of other predators.
