Hen of Hienghène, an ambassador of New Caledonia
3
0
The Hienghène black rock hen is considered the jewel of the northeast coast of Grande-Terre. Very photogenic and emblematic, she appears on a series of stamps from New Caledonia of which she is an ambassador. Visitors can admire it from a viewpoint amidst flamboyant trees or get closer to it in a kayak.
