Positioning and adjusting the noseband
0
0
The noseband is a strap, usually made of leather, which surrounds the horses' noses and jaws to give humans a better control on them and prevent them from opening their mouths too much. To be effective without injuring the animal, it must be positioned two fingers under its zygomatic process. Adjustable, it must also allow the passage of one or two fingers between itself and the horse when it is buckled.
