The Przewalski horse (Equus ferus przewalskii) has a large head with eyes placed higher up and less to the sides than in other horses. Its ears are long, its neckline is thick, and its short and stiff mane sheds every year. It grows straight in a brush and has no forelock. The tip of the Przewalski horse's nose is white, while its nostrils are black.
