Tool holder and lathe bed
0
0
In his woodturning workhop in Arinthod, Robert Marichy shapes wood pieces thanks to the movement he gives to his various cutting tools, which he keeps resting on a tool holder with adjustable height and orientation. It is the length of the lathe bed - i.e. of the rigid part that allows the maintenance and movement of the tool holder and of the fastening tailstock - which determines the maximum length of the piece that he can turn between centers.
