Most white rhinos are located in South Africa, Zimbabwe, Namibia and Kenya. After nearing extinction, their populations have maintained thanks to effective protection measures, especially in South Africa.
However, the animal is still very threatened, especially by poaching, for its horn.
Today, the species is mainly found in reserves, sanctuaries of wildlife or protected areas.
