Polar bear

The white fur of the polar bear allows it to camouflage in the snow-covered ice. Thanks to its long neck, it scrutinizes the pack ice and approaches the seals - which it captures exclusively on the ice - by hiding behind the ridges and hummocks. To ambush its preys, it can reach a speed of 24.8mi/h (40km/h), jump up to 22ft (7m) and swim for kilometers.
