0
In Canada, the polar bear is found in the northern regions including Yukon, the Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Manitoba, Ontario, Québec, Newfoundland, and Labrador. Eight living species have been listed all over the world and the polar bear is the biggest bear of it's kind. Males are up to 2.6 meters in length. Females are about half the size of males, between 200 to 300 kg compared to 400 to 600 kg for males. At birth, cubs are only about 25 cm long and weigh less than one kilogram!
