The coral reef shelters on a limited space thousands of living beings : algae, sponges, worms, anemones, starfish, sea cucumbers, molluscs and multiple species of multicolored fish. All are dependent on each other. The identification of the different species of fish and of their category (herbivores, predators, residents, visitors) helps to rebuild the food chain of the reef.
