Once they are dried, green coffee beans are weighed and transferred by pneumatic conveyor to storage hoppers. From here, they are bagged or conveyed to the roaster. During the roasting process, they tend to go through a weight loss due to the loss of water but their size double. They are then air cooled before bagging.
