Divers and sharks : management and protection of Tetamanu's underwater life
3
0
The upsurge in the number of divers present day and night in the Tetamanu pass to observe the gray sharks following the spotlight on Fakarava of the documentary '700 sharks in the night' by Laurent Ballesta prompted a collective of local actors to challenge the authorities of the State, the Country, the commune and the Ministry of Tourism. This collective proposes in particular to define the number of divers per dive, the number of divers at the same time in the pass and the number of divers per day as well as to prohibit the night dives.
