Planting the vine

0
The establishment of the vineyard takes place in successive stages. The winemaker first lets their land rest for several years. They then arrange their plots according to sun exposure, slope, nature of the soil, the length of the rows they wish, and vine density. This density influences the quantity and quality of grapes. It varies from 2000 to 10,000 vines per hectare depending on AOC regulations. Planting season generally occurs in February or March (except during periods of severe frost). The vines can then take root before the heat of summer.
