Banana plantation
Banana leaves can reach 3 meters. Rolled into each other, they form a trunk that can reach 10 m. This perennial plant has a rapid growth: it takes only 9 months from sawing a bulb to harvesting the fruit. The banana flower appears in the 6th or 7th month, and in the 9th month, the bananas are harvested while still green. Bananas are not a seasonal production: they are harvested all year round.
