At the bottom of the Gulf of Girolata, the small beach of Focaghia is surrounded by a few restaurants and bars to accommodate visitors usually coming by boat. Some hikers go there from the Croix Pass via the trail nicknamed the path of the Postman, traditionally used to forward mail to the few inhabitants of the isolated hamlet.
