The current Trois Ormeaux (Three Abalones) fountain was built on a well in 1632 after the destruction of various earlier buildings. It rises on an octagonal, thick and high basin which invites passers-by to sit down. Its pedestal is surmounted by a cylindrical vase in Calissanne and Bibémus stone, decorated with flowers and vine leaves and crowned with a bunch of grapes. It is supplied with water by four cannons.
