Place du Terreau is the largest square in the town of Manosque, the most populated city in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence department. The emblem of Jean Giono's town, the square extends southwest of the historic center, where a castle once stood. It is now converted into a paid parking lot, usable except on market days, that is to say on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
