Morgon peak and massif

The Pic de Morgon is the most emblematic summit of the Morgon Massif by its dominant position at the end of the chain above Serre-Ponçon lake. With its 7,624ft (2,324m), however, it is not the highest point and it is overtaken by almost all the other peaks of the massif whose altitude varies between 7,598ft (2,316m) (Pic de Charance) and 8,221ft (2,506m) (Cîme du Col Haut).
