This blue aquatic organism floating on the surface of this mangrove area looks like a physalia (Physalia physalis), a stinging pelagic cnidarian of the order of the marine siphonophores. Physalia - also called 'false jellyfish' or Portuguese mano'war - are composed of a bluish float with long and thin tentacles surmounted by a sail.
