I took this photo in the Devon Wildlife Trusts Dart Valley Nature Reserve. I hadn't been able to get a photo after hours of trying but then a shower of rain meant the temperature dropped and for a while, the butterflies cooled down and rested. This species has become rare due mainly to changes to their preferred habitat.
