A master turner and representative of the third generation working in his wood-turning workshop, Robert Marichy likes to say that you cannot make up for a bad shape with polishing. The gesture must therefore be precise, and learning requires time and patience. Robert Marichy started at the age of 14 in the workshop led by his father and grandfather, where he learned by watching them. He always knew he wanted to perpetuate their craft, a passion still intact at 88 years old.
