LA PASSERELLE MARC SEGUIN
Réservée aux piétons, la passerelle Marc Seguin date de 1849.
Le 1er pont suspendu d'Europe, construit en câbles de fer par cet ingénieur Ardéchois en 1824-1825 était situé à quelques mètres en amont, au niveau de la place du Port. Trop bas et gênant la navigation, il fut détruit en 1965.
Ainsi entre 1958 (date de la construction du Pont Gustave Toursier) et 1965, il y avait 3 ponts reliant les villes de Tain l'Hermitage et Tournon-sur-Rhône.
