Sharing the territory between three groups
0
0
The Monts d'Azur biological reserve is home to three distinct and unequal groups of Przewalski horses sharing its 1,730 acres (700 ha) territory. The meetings between the groups are rare and avoided by the dominant stallions. However, a decrease in resources may make it necessary to bring two distinct groups together around a point or shelter, with the groups accessing the point of interest according to the number of horses they gather and their hierarchical links.
