Forty-one Grands Sites have been chosen in Occitania for their architectural and cultural richness and their landscapes. The Grands Sites/Sud de France system aims to highlight them through the local authorities, the inhabitants, and tourism professionals. With its urban palaces and houses from the Middle Ages, Grand-Figeac was part of the chosen sites. Towards Compostela, the Chemin du Puys crosses Grand-Figeac before venturing into the Célé valley and its troglodyte cliffs.
