Vanda coerulea, commonly known as blue orchid, is a species of orchid found in Assam of China (south Yunnan) and is known as Bhatou phul in Assamese.
It is found in India, Sri Lanka, Burma and Thailand, at elevations of 800 to 1700 metres above dwarve trees or oaks in deciduous forests in areas with a dry season marked in the winter.
