In 1907, jeweller René Lalique’s meeting with François Coty, the perfumer at Place Vendôme in Paris, was decisive. Together they created bottles whose original shapes revolutionised the presentation of French perfumes. A brilliant inventor, Lalique mass-produced attractive bottles at affordable prices. From then on, he multiplied his creations for the perfume industry. The Lalique Museum in Wingen-sur-Moder (Bas-Rhin) presents a collection of 230 bottles and powder boxes of great creativity.
