Located in the Hautes-Alpes department, La Joue du Loup is, with Superdévoluy, one of the two resorts of the Dévoluy ski area in the eponymous massif. This village resort, with 55 lifts and 23 pistes, extends at an altitude of 4,921 ft (1,500 m). Created in 1976, it is one of the most recent French resorts. La Joue du Loup is dominated by the Pic de Bure that has become its emblem.
