Le Grau-du-Roi is a seaside resort that owes its reputation to its picturesque fishing port and beautiful sandy beaches. Its vast marina, known as Port Camargue, is lined with marinas and has many services and facilities. With 4,600 berths, it is one of the largest marinas in Europe. The town of Le Grau-du-Roi first appeared in the 16th century as a fishing hamlet. It has since become a municipality with more than 8,500 inhabitants developed thanks to tourism and maritime activity.
