Ocelot, the miniature jaguar
5
0
The ocelot (Leopardus pardalis) is a large wild cat with a rosette-dotted coat which make it look like a miniature jaguar. Its face is barred with black lines from the top of its head to its muzzle and from the outer end of its eye to its cheek. Its range extends from tropical forests to mangroves, passing through grassy savannahs and chapparal areas (bushy scrub) from the south of the United States to the south of Argentina.
