Oberes Tor (Upper Gate) at the end of Kaiserstraße in Waldshut, Germany is the eastern city gate and is therefore also called Schaffhauser Tor.
The Upper Gate was built on foundations from the 13th century. At the top of the tower there is a room for the tower keeper who monitored the Rhine and the city at the same time.
Until 1864 the Upper Gate was also the city prison.
