The Explorers
Orient Lake consists of ponds and reservoirs that are particularly favorable to numerous amphibians species. The tree frog, the crested newt, and the yellow-bellied ringer dwell in its waters, among other species. Orient Lake's amphibians are vulnerable during the reproduction period. A protection program aims to preserve them during their migration between terrestrial wintering areas and aquatic mating sites.
