More accessible, more extensive and more educational than it was in Gonfaron, the Tortoise Village of Carnoules offers an outdoor course and an aquatic area with detailed information on the protection of tortoises in order to discover the different land and water species in their natural environment as well as a huge greenhouse of 1,312sqft (400m²) for exotic tortoises. There is also an exhibition hall, a museum (photo) and a catering area : the aptly named 'La Tortue Gourmande' (The Gourmet Tortoise) !
