The northern fulmar is a highly abundant seabird found primarily in subarctic regions of the North Atlantic and North Pacific oceans. This migratory bird reaching 1 to 1,20 meters wingspan travels south as the sea freezes over. It is a long-lived bird with a low reproductive rate: it starts breeding at between six and twelve years old, laying a single white egg at a time.
