Autumn is a great time to watch migratory birds. Hundreds of thousands of birds, as well as their offspring bred in spring and summer, travel across the European continent towards the south. A migration of thousands of miles that requires stopovers, especially at the Lac du Der. The ornithologist guide Antoine Cubaixo is very familiar with the different bird species of the lake. According to him, there can be no happiness outside of nature. An active member of the local bird protection league (LPO-CA), he carries out daily bird counts.
