Located in the suburb of Toulon, Cuers is part of the urban unit of the prefecture of the Var department that formed an inter-departmental conurbation of twenty-seven municipalities and 575,347 inhabitants in 2017. It also belongs to the attraction area of Toulon, which comprises thirty-five localities. Finally, since 2010, Cuers has been part of the smaller Méditerranée Porte des Maures federation of municipalities that today brings together the six localities of Cuers, Bormes-les-Mimosas, La Londe-les-Maures, Pierrefeu-du-Var, Collobrières, and Le Lavandou.
