Multiculturality of West Papua

West Papua has 2.7 million people, only 50% of whom are indigenous, the rest being made up of Indonesian migrants, most of whom have been displaced in West Papua by the large-scale transmigration program of the government. It is therefore the most culturally diverse province of Indonesia with more than 250 Melanesian groups of different ethnicities.
