To be a mule driver requires a great knowledge of the territory and an important organization. Before each transport, it is necessary to check the weather conditions, the state of the pathways and water points. Then, the animals are harnessed. During the climb, the driver must ensure that stones from the rocky trail do not get wedged in the mules' hooves. Finally, after each transport, the animals are fed and cared for.
