Due to its exceptional location, Moustiers-Sainte-Marie is the ideal starting point for discovering the contrasting lands of the southern part of the UNESCO Geopark of Haute-Provence territory marked by the dual influence of the Alps and Provence. This territory which combines olive tree and lavender with larch and edelweiss is also rich in flavors, scents and colors shaped by a long human presence. The objective of the Geopark is therefore not only to protect and preserve its geological heritage but also to enhance and animate all its other heritages.
