Moustiers-Sainte-Marie and the 'Maison du Parc'
It is in Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, for its central position, that the Verdon Regional Natural Park has chosen to set up its 'Maison du Parc', which is its direct place of reception. Occupied for 500,000 years, particularly in the region of the Baume Bonne cave which retains traces of this ancient presence, this very rural territory now has a little over 30,000 inhabitants. Its aging population yet continues to welcome new inhabitants, mainly from the region and in its western part.
