Mostly feeding and ruminating

In the barn, the cows spend most of their time feeding and ruminating. This activity is essential both for their digestion but also to stimulate milk production. They are then generally lying on their sides with their paws extended. It is therefore essential for the cows to benefit from sufficient space to rest on a layer of dry and soft straw organized as a litter.
