Notre-Dame du Havre Cathedral spent several months hidden under tarpaulins to prepare for its restoration. The works allowed the building, listed as a Historical Monument in 1919, to regain its former majesty. The construction of this cathedral-turned church began in 1574, and the bell tower constitutes its oldest part. The facade is Baroque, the columns are in Ionic and Corinthian styles, but the rest of the monument is Renaissance architecture in Caen stone.
